    A very exciting program awaits all who register! Here is our agenda for the day:  
  • Coffee, tea, and time to visit our exhibitors

  • A brief business meeting, at which you will meet many new members of the ATOMIC Board

  • Presentation of the Connecticut Finalists for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST)
  • Presentation of ATOMIC 's Mary Muri and Robert Rosenbaum Awards
  • A keynote address, sure to start our day thoughtfully, by Rafranz Davis, Instructional Technology Specialist & author of The Missing Voices in EdTech: Bringing Diversity into EdTech 
  • A terrific line-up of presentations by veteran and new presenters, including Shawn Towle, NCTM Affiliate Services Committee Chair, Falmouth, ME
  • A buffet of fresh wraps, salads, and a dessert bar to fuel your afternoon sessions
  • An afternoon of presentations, visiting exhibitors, catching-up with colleagues, making new connections


Special Guest:


At the end of our luncheon, Dianna R. Wentzell, Connecticut Commissioner of Education, will join us with remarks on the state of Mathematics Education in our state. We are looking forward to having her with us!      

The conference will be held in Cromwell, CT, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, from 7:30 - 3:30. It is organized by grade band, and includes 60-minute workshops and 45-minute sessions. There will be time and space built-in to visit our vendors and collaborate with your colleagues.
