    NCTM and ORIGO Education Coloring Contest

    I Love Math Coloring Contest

    The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and ORIGO® Education, an innovative PK–6 math solutions provider, have come together to kick off a fun coloring contest for students in grades 3–12.

     

    The goal is to get students to make creative connections to math, using story problems and colors, and to make a positive association to the subject. It’s also fun! 

     

    Teacher submissions can be made for grade bands 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12.

    Submit your class entries by April 1 and you could be eligible to win one of three complimentary registrations to the NCTM 2021 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Atlanta, September 22–25, and specially selected ORIGO product.

    The CCLM Board of Directors has planned a series of fall – winter online sessions addressing issues of concern to our membership based on recent survey results. 


    This is a great opportunity to share your thinking or discuss what your school/district is doing and listen to what other members of your group or what our distinguished panels are thinking/doing in relation to a predetermined topic.  Each monthly session will be led/facilitated by someone designated by CCLM. The monthly topics include: 

    November: The effective use of technology in supporting student learning. 
    Format: Panel Discussion followed by Q&A/Discussion. There are so many technology resources out there. Which ones have you found the most helpful in supporting student learning? How can we address equity issues related to technology? 

    December: Assessing student learning remotely. 
    Format: Panel Discussion followed by Q&A/Discussion. Further details to come.

    January: Making Adjustments to the Curriculum 
    Format: Panel Discussion followed by Q&A/Discussion. Further details to come. 

     Membership fee is $25 and will cover any online sessions hosted by CCLM during the 2020-2021 school year.
