The second in-person workshop is around the corner and you are invited to join MTC4SJ on Saturday, June 6th at UConn Hartford from 9:00 - 11:30 am. This workshop is free and open to anyone (teachers, students, coaches, mathematicians, etc.), no matter your experience with math and social justice! Description: As MTC4SJ rounds out our 6th year, we are excited to offer our second in-person workshop to expand capacity and community for teachers and leaders looking to make mathematics more meaningful in their classrooms. Come network, learn and get ideas for your classroom!

The first half of this workshop will engage all participants in a hands-on social justice math task and debrief. The second half will allow participants to start working on adapting a lesson from existing resources to use in their own classrooms. Continued support will be offered to teachers that want to further develop and implement their lesson!
