Sacred Heart University, the Code.org regional partner, is offering VIRTUAL Code.org Professional Development for K-5 teachers this summer. This includes both the Introductory Computer Science Fundamentals and the NEW Deep Dive workshop for elementary teachers who already have some experience with Code.org's Computer Science Fundamentals curriculum. Flyer attached.

As teachers and schools consider how to adapt their STEM and Technology programs to new arrangements in this time of COVID-19, Code.org is here to help. Computer Science Fundamentals is a free, cloud-based, K-5 computer science curriculum that can run on any device (tablets, netbooks, laptops, etc) and requires no special physical equipment. There are suitable curriculum entry points for a wide range of grade levels and previous experience.

You will be amazed at what your students can accomplish and how engaged they will be in solving problems and expressing themselves through computer science!

Registrations are currently being accepted for these FREE one-day VIRTUAL workshops:
