Share Your Voice Speak at NCTM Innov8 Share your teaching ideas and practices at the  Innov8 Conference, November 15–17, in Las Vegas. The theme of the conference this year is "Breaking Barriers: Actionable approaches to reach each and every learner in mathematics." Inspire your peers to gain a deeper understanding of student agency, identity, social justice, culture, and language within the math classroom. The deadline to submit a proposal is March 17. Speak at 2018 NCTM Annual Meeting Although the 2017 NCTM Annual Meeting & Exposition is still upon us, it's never too early to think about presenting at the 2018 Annual Meeting. All proposals must be submitted to a unique topic strand—find out what strands will make up the conference program and read descriptions of each. The deadline to submit a proposal is May 1. The Math Forum Pi Day Resources Pi Day falls on the second Tuesday of this month. Celebrate the circular fun with the Math Forum's  Teacher Exchange, which offers a collection of songs, trivia quizzes, and other party preparation suggestions, as well as units on deriving the irrational through measurement and  using similarity to motivate its determination. Explore more on the ratio of circumference to diameter with FAQs from our ask-an-expert services, Teacher2Teacher and Ask Dr. Math. Networking Lounge Presentations Going to San Antonio next month? In addition to the great program, we'll have mini-sessions taking place in NCTM Central in the Exhibit Hall starting Wednesday afternoon. Join other educators from across the state at the third annual Moving from Compliance to Coherence Conference: Advancing Student and Educator Growth through Effective Feedback at the Radisson Hotel in Cromwell on Mar. 9, 2017. All of the sessions are facilitate by Connecticut educators. The conference provides a prime opportunity to network with fellow educators. the dates and locations below

June 26-30 in Ledyard CT

July 10-14 in Montville CT

July 24-28 in Southington.
